Moscow, Russia, «Akademika Pavlova» residential complex
The design of this apartment in the Academic Pavlov residential complex was driven by the lifestyle of a family with two children who will be living here. We’ve created a dynamic, unconventional, and engaging space that’s full of ideas to stimulate the imagination.
Two load-bearing walls have divided the apartment into four zones. We’ve expanded the space of two rooms, designated an entryway area with two large closets, and added additional partitions to separate areas. The apartment now features a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom, a living room with a kitchen and dining area, as well as two children’s rooms with a spacious shared bathroom and two sinks.
Playing with lines
The sense of movement is created by the interplay of rounded elements and lines on the veneer surface, placed at different angles on the walls in the hallway, contrasting elements of porcelain stoneware on the floor and walls, as well as the patterns on the wallpaper. They form a striking geometric pattern, enlivening the space and establishing a visual rhyme with each other. Pay attention to the lighting solution – vertical light elements in the form of lines harmonize with rounded fixtures.
Unique details
Only the best
Among the premium materials we have chosen for the finishing, there are handcrafted Affresco wallpaper, textured natural veneer in the color ‘American walnut,’ Belgian ornate decor from Orac Decor, and Italian porcelain stoneware with the imitation of marble and agate patterns. All the furniture was custom-made according to our designs. All the lighting fixtures are from “Centrsvet.”
